DayMate Editor's Review
DayMate is a great scheduler and planner. Its usability is astounding and its features work like a charm, allowing you to organize and plan your meetings. You can use this application as an on-screen clock which allows 3 different time zones to be displayed at the same time.
The program gives the opportunity to schedule actions at a specified time and date. Available actions include launching a program, shutting down the computer, checking a mailbox, sending an e-mail, dialing a phone number, and so on. By default, the application only displays a dialog on your screen whenever an alarm is triggered. This dialog has a snooze button, enabling you to postpone the message without canceling it.
The alarms can be defined in the program's main window. This window shows a calendar on the left, and allows you to select a certain day. On the left side, a bigger panel, allows you to define alarms at any hour of the selected day. You can also view all the alarms of the selected day in this panel.
Pluses: Each event (alarm) can be colored differently, depending on its priority. It's also possible to set recurring alarms. You can create backups and import/export data to/from Outlook.
Drawbacks / flaws:
In conclusion: DayMate helps you to never miss an event. Organizers should be used by everyone with a busy schedule, and DayMate is a good choice.
